Adding Enhancements

“Enhancements” are decorative extras that give your basket some color and pizzazz, and fill in the gaps between items. Fresh or silk flowers work great, or you can use bows, curling ribbon, faux grapes, ivy or puffs of colored tissue. You can also buy custom-made enhancements, such as Mylar star sprays. Or choose small items that fit in with the theme of your basket—a wooden spoon with a ribbon tied around it adds zing to a pasta basket, or a bright bandana adds a touch of color to a BBQ basket.
