Step 3

Selecting a Container

Hereís where you really get creative. Let your imagination run wild. Wicker or woven baskets work great, but virtually anything that can support items can be used as a container. Remember that the container you choose needs to be the right size for the items that will go inside, and must be strong and stable enough to support them.

Itís usually best to pick a container AFTER youíve decided on the items you plan to use. That way you can choose an appropriately sized container that is relative to the size of the contents.

Dollar stores are great for finding inexpensive containers...or, hit the thrift stores or yard sales. Old containers can be revitalized with spray paint or covered with fabric.

Or, if you prefer, you can make your own container out of a cardboard box or paper bag.  For help, click HERE for some great ideas!
