Decorating Possibilities:

• Line the bottom of the basket with a soft baby towel. Allow one or two corners of the blanket to hang over the edge of the container.

• Use yellow, pink and blue tissue to make “puffs” between the items in the basket.

• Wrap the basket with yellow, pink or blue tulle.

• Take a cloth diaper (or make a fake one out of paper), fold it into a triangle and wrap it around the bottom of the basket (like you’re diapering a baby). Secure with two diaper pins.

• Tie a baby rattle onto a ribbon so that the rattle hangs on the front of the basket.

• Top off the basket with a bow made from yellow, pink and blue curling ribbon.

• Use a “fish” theme, by placing a wavy sheet of blue cellophane behind the items (to look like an ocean). Add some fish stickers, or add toy fish, starfish, seahorses, etc. in with the items.
