CHRISTMAS BASKET IDEAS

You have tons of choices when creating a Christmas basket.  First select several items that the recipient will love.  Then add some Christmas flair with a red, green, and white color scheme.

Here are some more decorating tips:

• Use a hot glue gun to attach faux holly leaves and berries around the edge of your basket.

• Cut up old Christmas cards and use them to decorate the basket.

• String some cranberries or popcorn and wind them between your items.

• Use spray-on glue to attach fake snow to the outside of your basket.

• Use a red basket and tuck puffs of green tissue between the items (or a red basket with green tissue).

• Use a red basket and glue stripes of white ribbon in a diagonal pattern to resemble a candy cane.

• Use ribbon to tie a candy cane or a couple of cinnamon sticks to the top of the basket.

• Insert one or two pine cones into the basket.

• Hang a cute Christmas tree ornament from the handle of the basket.
